Lawyers, academics and human-rights activists are demanding the closure of a direct-provision centre in Kerry.

It's after 24 cases of Covid-19 in the Skellig Star Hotel in Cahersiveen.

Amnesty International and the Irish Refugee Council are among those calling for the centre to be shut down.

The centre's residents have been told to continue to self-isolate until May 20th because the HSE said they weren't sticking to social-distancing rules.
