Parents and guardians of students at Presentation Secondary School in Mitchelstown were informed of one positive case in the school yesterday.
The HSE says a public health risk assessment has been carried out and that the parents of any children deemed to be close contacts have been contacted.
Coachford College, Carrigaline Community School, Douglas Community School and Gaelscoil Ghoirt Álainn in Montenotte have all confirmed cases of the virus in recent days.
The HSE are reminding parents to keep their children home from school if they develop any symptoms of the virus.
