The Construction Industry Federation has moved to clarify claims the cost of major projects could rise by 40 per cent due to Covid 19 restrictions
Earlier this week, the Director General of the organisation told the Dail's Covid committee, projects like the national children's hospital, could see costs rise by that amount.
However, today Tom Parlon says PRODUCTIVITY will be hit by 40 per cent.
He says the industry will work hard to reduce costs associated with social distancing:
