Children Encouraged To Walk Or Cycle To School When They Re-Open

They are due to re-open later this month

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has launched its Active School Travel Initiative calling on children to walk or cycle each day.

It aims to reduce the impact on public transport, avoid traffic congestion at school gates and encourage a shift away from cars.

Robert Burns from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council says he hopes children can keep up their habits from lockdown:
