Speaking to RedFM News, Communications Manager at Cork Airport Kevin Cullinane says the aviation industry has dealt with a lot of uncertainty since the outbreak of the pandemic:
"What we don't know obviously is what could transpire in the coming week and whether that will curtail some people's travel plans. It's a little bit uncertain at this moment in time if all 60,00 people that are due to travel in and out of Cork Airport will actually materialise or not, and that's what has made forecasting so difficult for us this year; these caveats that keep appearing in terms of Government advice, Government regulations both here and around the globe. People have been putting more into their planning and we hope that comes home to roost this year."
