Cork Airport Is Expecting A Return To Some Sense Of Normality Next Week

It's as Ryanair recommences flights to 23 European destinations

It follows months of uncertainty and upset for the aviation industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was announced earlier this afternoon that flights to Alicante, Budapest, Lanzarote, Malaga, Naples, Poznan, and Tenerife and many more would resume from next Wednesday July 1st.

Passengers will need to wear face masks from the time they arrive at the airport and throughout the flight.

Social distancing measures, Plexiglas protection screens at customer services desks, and repeated sanitization throughout the terminal will also be place.

Speaking to RedFM News, Head of Communications at Cork Airport Kevin Cullinane says they're expecting more good news in the coming days:
