The Cork based iNua hotel group says the substantial downturn in corporate events such a conferences will pose significant challenges for the hotel industry.
The Radisson Blue Hotel in Little Island is one of the many hotels here in Cork to lose such events however it is benefiting from its proximity to tourist attractions such Fota Wildlife Park and Spike Island.
The hotel is one of eight hotels that form part of iNua Hospitality PLC and its chief executive has expressed concern for the upcoming winter when hoteliers can no longer rely on domestic tourism.
