Cork Childcare Provider Says Some Creche Owners Face Impossible Decisions In The Coming Weeks

John Bowman from BEL Childcare in Douglas was speaking on the first day of a shutdown impacting 200,000 children and babies and 30,000 staff in the sector.

Creches, schools and colleges are due to reopen at the end of the month, however there are fears some creches will be forced to close for good if the shutdown is extended.

Speaking to RedFM News, John Bowman says many providers feel like they have been thrown to the wolves:
