A Cork charity say they're aiming to make 2021 the best yet for children in hospital in Cork, who were unable to go the organisation's annual trip to Disney Land this year.
The annual trip for around 240 children to Fota House in December, in association with Gardaí, the Fire Service and ambulance, has also been cancelled due to the pandemic.
However the Cork City Hospitals Children's Club say all is not lost and they're hoping to make up for the shortfall in funding this year to ensure that 2021 brings a smile to children in hospital and their families after an additionally challenging year with the extra difficulties created by the COVID19 outbreak.
The charity have launched their "Christmas Hat Day" which will take place on December 11th, people are asked to take part by wearing a Christmas Hat and donate to the charity's Go Fund Me page.
