Shops are set to re-open on Monday

Shops will be required to operate staggered opening hours so they can conform to social distancing guidelines.

Cork Chamber says the return of retail will provide a boost for Cork's high streets and people are being encouraged to support their local business community.

Speaking to RedFM News Pat O'Connell from the English Market, says it's incumbent on us all to shop local.

With social distancing throughout the pandemic, he says traders and the City Council will ensure that shoppers are safe in the City:
