The Cork City Marathon will now take place on September 6th 2020.
The decision to postpone the event which was due to take place on May 31st was taken in light of the COVID19 outbreak.
Adrienne Rodgers, Race Director and Director of Services at Cork City Council, spoke out to RedFM News:
“The priority for us right now is to do everything we can do to keep you and your families safe. The Cork City Marathon has been rescheduled until 6th September 2020 and we look forward to welcoming you then for another great Cork City Marathon,” she said.
