Cork construction firm pulls out all the stops to protect workers ahead of reopening

A Cork construction company say they've taken every measure necessary to ensure safety ahead of the reopening of their site on Penrose Quay.

PJ Hegarty & Sons have added additional toilet blocks, extra sinks, extended their canteen, installed hand and tool sanitisation stations, and even installed washing machines for clothes.

As well as a raft of safety measures three COVID enforcement officers are on site to ensure social distancing and safety for all workers.

Speaking to RedFM News Contracts Director with PJ Hegarty & Sons Barry Casey says workers are very happy to be back and everything has been done to ensure their safety:
