Cork County Council Has Committed €6 Million To Help The County Deal With The Impact Of Covid-19

A new initiative called ACT, or Activating County Towns, has been unveiled at County Hall this afternoon

It will see newly formed Town Teams working on individual plans for 23 Cork towns including measures to allow for physical distancing and pedestrian friendly

The €6 million fund will be used to support festivals, events and town enhancement works.

Speaking to RedFM News, Cork County Council CEO Tim Lucey says this money will go towards rebuilding the County:
