Cork County Council sets up Covid-19 Community Support Programme

Cork County Council has set up a COVID-19 Community Support Programme to help groups assisting vulnerable people with their daily needs.

The aim of the programme is to help co-ordinate the efforts of groups that collect medication and groceries and provide social support such as the Gardaí, Meals on Wheels, Irish Rural Link and the GAA.

The service will operate from 8am to 8pm seven days a week.

A free phone line has been set up on 1800 805 819.
