The funding has been announced by the Department of Rural and Community Development.

It will be used to create a community garden in Youghal, a public amenity area in Rathcormac, a revamp of Macroom which will include street furniture and the refurbishment of public toilets, and the purchase of 2 marquees to host all weather community events in West Cork.

It's hoped the projects will help stimulate the local economies across Cork County post-COVID19.
