The new service will see Elevare deliver food and other essential items in the Cork city region

Elevare, the Irish-owned full-service facilities management company, has launched a Welfare Response service, utilising its existing mobile response vehicles, for those who may not be able to leave their home due to social distancing, self-isolation or childcare restrictions.

The new service will see Elevare deliver food and other essential items in the Cork city region.
The firm is offering this free service daily between 10am and 4pm to the charity SHARE, as well as Elevare's 250 employees.

Elevare's control centre will co-ordinate requests with the company's existing mobile response units making the drop-offs the next day.

Speaking to RedFM News Elevare's CEO Ger O'Donovan said they wanted to do something proactive to support the most vulnerable in the community
