A Cork hairdresser says the underground market is booming during the pandemic.
A number of professionals says they've lost several clients after refusing to do clients hair during level 5 restrictions
Caroline Bell is Owner of The Hair Salon in Cobh, she says people are desperate.
"It's a problem everywhere at the moment. The shadow economy is booming right now.
"That's not for me to police, that's up to Revenue.
"People are at their wits end at the minute over their hair.
"As a "non essential business", people are realising how essential the hair and beauty industry actually is."
