That's according to the latest figures from the National Public Health Emergency Team
Of the 18,561 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland, Cork accounts for 1,103 cases, which is roughly 6%.
The median age of those who have contracted the virus is 49, while to date there have been 1,063 Covid-19 related deaths in the Repubic.
