Cork Hospitals Are Coping Well With The Covid-19 Pandemic

That's according to a Professor of Medicine at UCC

The director of the HRB Clinical Research Facility Professor Joe Eustuce says hospitals in the city and county are well prepared and able to cope with an increase in patients.

The HSE are assuring the public that procedures are in place to ensure the safety of anyone who needs treatment for a non-covid injury or illness.

Cork has the second highest level of confirmed covid-19 cases in Ireland with 829.

Speaking to RedFM News, Professor Joe Eustace says despite this, Cork hospitals have been able to deal with the workload:
