A Cork hotelier says new guidelines for weddings are a step too far when no known COVID19 outbreak has been associated with any hotel since they reopened at the end of June.
Fáilte Ireland has issued new guidelines which include no more than 50 people at the one function including staff, while guests will have to leave at 11.30pm.
Guests can also only take their mask when they are seated.
Since they new restrictions were announced many couples have been scrambling to postpone their dates.
