The Echo Women's Mini Marathon has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 6km race, which was due to be held in the City in September raises around €1 million for dozens of charities every year.
Organisers are disappointed the event cannot be held, but say they are planning an alternative event and will release the details in the coming weeks.
It's the first time the race has been cancelled in 38 years
