Cork pubs have reopened their doors today for the first time since March

So called 'wet pubs' are one of the final businesses to reopen after lockdown but robust protective measures are in place as a condition of reopening.

Some of the measures include limited numbers, physical distancing, table service only and strict cleaning regimes.

Pubs in Dublin however will remain closed for at least the next three weeks with the capital under Level 3 restrictions with extra measures.

Speaking to RedFM News Michael O’Donovan of the Cork branch of the VFI and owner of the Castle Inn says he's received huge support already:
