Cork Racecourse in Mallow will be used a Covid-19 test centre from today.
Horse Racing Ireland confirmed testing will begin at the venue today and that they will be working with the HSE to identify how other personnel and infrastructure could be used to help during the crisis
10 race meetings were held behind closed doors since restrictions on public gtherings were introduced, however all sporting events have now been cancelled.
