Cork SouthDoc centres are to reopen on a phased basis following almost three months of closures and altered service due to the COVID19 outbreak.

The service was consolidated in a bid to protect doctors, staff and patients with the majority of consultations by way of phone calls. Clinics also saw reduced numbers of patients attending centres and even fewer home visits.

The centres in Kanturk and Fermoy are to reopen this month while those in Clonakilty, Macroom and Skibbereen on course to reopen next month.
