A Cork TD is calling on Debenhams to honour workers entitlements in the wake of last week's announcement that stores here in Ireland will not reopen following the COVID19 crisis.
The decision affects 2,000 workers nationwide, hundreds of those are here in Cork where the department store has two branches.
Mandate confirmed to RedFM News last week that they will be fighting on behalf of employees to ensure they are prioritised throughout the liquidation process.
