A Cork TD says denying the Covid19 jobless payment to workers over the age of 66 is simply wrong.
The €350 payment only applies to those under the age of 66 who have lost their jobs as a result of the COVID19 outbreak.
The Taoiseach has come under fire for the decision however Leo Varadkar says the payment isn't designed to ensure everyone has the same income and those who are over 66 should be in receipt of the State pension.
