Passenger numbers at the airport have plummeted by 95% since travel restrictions were introduced in March.
Management estimate the airport will lose around €23 million this year and will host just 600,000 passengers compared to almost 2.6 million in 2019.
Ryanair have threatened to close its base at Cork and Shannon Airports unless the Government relaxes international travel restrictions- more detail on the expansion of greenlist countries is expected from the government today.
