That's according to housing expert Michael O'Donoghue
He was reacting to the latest REA Average House Price Survey, which was released earlier today.
The report found that house prices in Cork City and County have remained static throughout the coronavirus pandemic, despite the fact that a downturn in the market was expected by many.
The average price for a three-bed semi-detached house in the City remains at 320,000 euro, with County prices rising by just 1.1% in the past year to 176,000 euro.
