Movement restrictions seem to be having an impact on crime figures - with zero burglaries recorded in a single day in Dublin for the first time ever.

According to the Irish Independent, there were no break-ins in any of the capital's six Garda divisions last Friday.

While the paper reports that the number of offences recorded in every crime category has seen a steady drop across the country since the outbreak began.
