Key stakeholders are meeting today to discuss the phased reopening of the city.
The Irish Examiner reports the meeting will discuss how social distancing can best be achieved, with pedestrianisation and space for cyclists expected to play a major role in getting people back into the city.
The CORE group includes Cork Chamber, CBA, Gardaí and Bus Eireann as well as representatives from the retail and hopitality sectors.
A psychologist will also advise the meeting what fears people may have about returning to cities in general.
