Families Across Cork Are Being Urged To Get Involved In Den Day This Weekend

It's in aid of housing charity Threshold

The national housing charity has launched this unique campaign to keep vulnerable people in their homes, while also giving families on lockdown something creative to do at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The fundraising campaign asks families in Cork to 'make a den and save a home'  by signing up via its website for a digital Den Day pack which includes inspiration and instructions for building your den.

Threshold has already dealt with over 1,000 new cases in Cork in the first four months of this year and the charity says while the temporary ban on evictions and rent increases has provided some relief to renters they're worried that once these measures are lifted that people will be left in precarious situations.
