It's after Ryanair and Aer Lingus announced almost 4,000 jobs are to go

3,000 mostly pilot and cabin crew roles are to be axed at Ryanair due to the slump in revenue because of the coronavirus.

While Aer Lingus plans to cut up to 900 jobs and is working on a proposal for a voluntary redundancy scheme.

Aviation Journalist, Gerry Byrne believes it'll take even longer for the industry to recover, than what the Ryanair boss is predicting:
