Concerns over payment have been raised by Early Childhood Ireland who are seeking urgent clarification on the wage subsidy scheme announced two weeks ago for the  childcare sector which is yet to be introduced

The organisation fears that workers in one-third of childcare settings may go unpaid over Easter as result

Frances Byrne of Early Childhood Ireland told RedFM News that they are seeking an urgent update from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs  on the proposed  government Wage Subsidy Scheme for the sector:
