Fears are rising about the future of fashion stores Oasis and Warehouse

They are expected to make an announcement today or tomorrow as it's been reported that they are preparing to go into administration in the UK

It's not yet known what impact the move will have on their Irish stores.

Oasis has two outlets in Cork on Patrick Street and Mahon Point while Warehouse had an outlet in Debenhams in Mahon Point

Last week Debenhams announced that  that stores here in Ireland will not reopen following the COVID19 crisis.

The decision affects 2,000 workers nationwide and around 350 workers here in Cork where the department store has two branches.
