Finance Minister Says VAT Rate Cut Should Be Passed To Consumer Where Possible

A six month VAT rate cut from 23 to 21 per cent was announced as part of the July stimulus package.

Paschal Donohoe acknowledged some businesses may need to use the savings to keep staff on board.

But he said others should pass the savings on to the consumer:
