Four more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
The two men and two women are from the West and from the same family.
They bring to nine the number of people affected by covid-19 on the island of Ireland.
They have all travelled here from an affected area, and did not contract the virus from someone else here, as happened in several cases in the UK.
Professor Sam McConkey, from the RCSI, says if that happens here, we will have to ramp up our social response to contain the virus.
