Gardai in Cork and across Ireland will be out in force
Operation Fanacht will continue to run from tomorrow morning until the end of the May Bank Holiday weekend on Monday night.
It will mostly involve large-scale checkpoints on many main routes, and thousands of mobile checkpoints on secondary routes and in towns and villages.
Garda presence will also be ramped up at major tourist locations, parks and natural beauty spots to ensure compliance with coronavirus restrictions.
