The new restrictions were enforced to curb the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak
It comes after 72 new cases were detected in Cork yesterday.
Meanwhile the Tánaiste says the government is reluctant to ease any restrictions earlier than planned as it could undermine the progress that's been made.
