It forms part of Operation Fanacht in an attempt to curb the spread of Covid-19
They are appealing to the public to continue following the current Covid-19 public health guidelines which include limiting your contact with people, wearing a face mask when required, avoiding non-essential travel, and restricing visitors from entering your home.
The appeal comes as NPHET today has recommended the whole of Ireland be moved to Level 5 Covid restrictions.
Public health officials believe a six week lockdown is necessary to suppress the virus.
