The Government plan on administering 200,000 booster vaccines a week.
They're seen as an important part of managing the current Covid wave - with over 50s and people with underlying conditions now eligible.
So far, less than 5 per cent of people in their 60s have received a third dose. Minister Stephen Donnelly says the rollout of boosters will speed up:"We are moving at pace on the 60's, we're moving to we're moving to accelerate this and we'd be doing several 100,000 a week. We'll be doing in excess of 200,000 a week. Moving on to the 60s, moving on to the 50s and critically those with underlying conditions."
