A leading health expert is calling for the government to consider closing its borders to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Infectious diseases specialist Paddy Mallon says it would stop new cases coming in and help the HSE to cope with existing ones.
Dr Mallon is a consultant in St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.
