HSE says there should be no direct contact between carers and clients who suspect they may have contracted the virus
The client's GP will need to be informed and provide guidance on how to proceed regarding testing and self isolating.
In a statement issued to RedFM News the HSE say they have provided specific guidance to Home Help staff and providers and say priority will be given to the most vulnerable in the community where possible.
