Hopes West Cork 'Coastal National Park' Plan Could Help Region Recover From Loss Of Tourism

Tourism employs thousands in the region

A submission has been made to Government mapping out a twenty year plan for the development of the maritime sector, with focus on utilising West Cork as a national park, for sustainable fishing, and the protection of Bantry Bay kelp.

Cork TD Holly Cairns is one of the authors behind the submission and speaking to RedFM News she says the entire West Cork region needs to be promoted more:
