The HSE has directed hospitals and healthcare facilities to immediately suspend parking charges for staff.
CEO of the HSE, Paul Reid says he's been overwhelmed by the dedication, support and professionalism of all workers in helping to contain the outbreak.
He added it's only right that every effort was made to ensure they are supported.
