The HSE's Autumn-Winter vaccination programme is now underway, with the roll out of the free flu and Covid-19 vaccines to certain groups.
A Covid-19 booster shot is recommended for people aged 50 and over, while the flu vaccine is recommended for people aged 65 and over.
Anyone with a long term health condition, anyone who works in healthcare, and anyone who is pregnant, is advised to get both.
HSE vaccination teams will also provide both vaccines for people living in residential care facilities, including nursing homes, as well as to housebound patients.
