They could be needed to assist in the Covid-19 pandemic

Earlier this week, the HSE announced that home help hours have been cut for many of the country's elderly citizens to focus on more vulnerable patients.

The HSE confirmed to RedFM news that these changes will apply to people who have been assessed as being less reliant on the home care service.
