Business group IBEC wants the government to invest 15 billion euro to help the economy.

It says the fund should be put in place within the first 100 days of any new administration.

It also wants 25 billion euro invested into transport and energy projects.

Fergal O’Brien from IBEC says the ‘Reboot and Reimagine’ plan is about imaginative thinking.

"It's not just about going back to where were were in terms of rocovery for business activity and employment, it's about looking at big trends like our Digital economy, sustainability, the future of work.

"Our economy and our business society is going to change permanently as a result of this crisis, and we have an opportunity now to build a better Ireland and that's what we're seeking to set out in all of the detail of this plan."
