Ireland is likely to hit the 6 million mark in its Covid-19 vaccine programme today.
The HSE is encouraging anyone in North Cork who has not received a first dose of a covid vaccine to attend a walk in
clinic in Mallow this weekend.
The centre at Mallow GAA will be open from 11am to 3pm and will be administering the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Anyone over the age of 16 can attend the clinic and people are being asked to bring photo ID and their PPS humber.
Speaking to RedFM News, Deputy clinical lead at the Mallow vaccination centre, Anne Marie O'Gorman says people don't have to register before turning up.
"If you can register that would make life easier for yourself because it means you would be quicker going through the queue.
"But if you haven't registered it doesn't matter as we can register you on the day.
"You are going to have to bring some form of photographic ID - passport, driver's licence, national age card, public services card, school or college ID, anything like that."
