That's the stark warning from the Cork based Irish South and West Fish Producers Organisation who say some skippers may not be able to recover from the economic crash created by the coronavirus.
The organisation, which represents around 60 vessels and 400 crew, says sales of fish have been greatly impacted by the closure of hotels and restaurants and by other countries like France who are not buying Irish caught fish in an effort to boost their own fishing trade.
