Irish Restaurants Association says it has no problem with gastro-pubs opening next month

The Irish Restaurants Association says it has no problem with gastro-pubs opening next month because they won't be able to operate as before.

There are calls for pubs that serve food to be allowed to open in June at the same time as restaurants, as opposed to August.

The Vintners Federation of Ireland is seeking urgent clarity from the health minister on the issue.
